About zipped files

IMPORTANT If you are not able to open a zipped file it would be best you not order plans.
Peazip portable can be obtained free here.  For Windows 95/98/Me/2000/XP/Vista, WINE on Linux/UNIX

The first clue that the file is not unzipped is the text shows but not the pictures. It means the HTML code can't follow the links.

If you are using Peazip, open Peazip first rather than clicking on the zipped file. Then use Peazip to navigate to where you have the zipped file stored. (click "file", then "open archive" and navigate to the file folder)

The use the button "extract all to" and find a place to put the unzipped file.
"temp" is good safe place.

If the file has been sucessfully unzipped there will be a folder for "Flapdoodle" (or whatever the file name was)

Now you can use your Windows Explorer to go to that folder and click INDEX.HTML

All should be well, but rarely you will have to use your web browser to navigateto INDEX the first time.

Once you have it the first time, you can bookmark it (or any others in the plans) just as you would a page on the internet.

If you use Windows Vista, please look here for info on Windows built-in zip utility.
